I’m so excited that our neighborhood is hosting a Home & Garden Tour October 3. I believe we’ll have eight homes to tour. The proceeds benefit our local elementary school, Charles Hay. My neighbor, Stacie Smith, is organizing the event and I’m trying to help with some of the planning in between remodeling fun. We’re hoping this becomes an annual event. If so, we’ll be showing our home next year. You know, after it doesn’t look like a war zone.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Mod Livin on Colfax. Please come out for the tours and invite all your friends!

Is your tour always the 1st Saturday of October? I may plan a trip out there next year to take it in. I’m a MCM fan in Maryland who found out about the tour too late to make it this year.
how many homes are on the tour? I’ve seen signs in the area but they only say “garden tour” not inside the homes?

Hi Erica, There are a total of 12 homes on the tour. 8 homes are showing the entire house and 4 are showing just gardens. I’ve heard that the four garden only homes have pretty nice gardens. Hope that you can come to the tour!
