Hi,
I am the Art Director for Interweave Books. I am looking for mid-century homes to do a photoshoot in. I was curious about your home. If you are interested, could you send me more pics of the interior of your house?
Best, Liz

Read in the August 2011 5280 page 44 that the addition was 2,000 SF. Is this correct? DG

Hi David,

Actually, that is NOT correct. AFTER the addition, the total house is now around 2,000 sf. Here is the blog post I did to clarify/correct some of what was in the article. http://midmodredo.com/news-5280mag
As I said in that post, 2,000 sf is about the limit of space that I can manage. :>

Cheers and thanks for visiting the blog!

Hello:
My husband and I have hired a contractor and are currently having our home remodeled. We would like to have a Nana wall installed in the living room area facing the water (approx. 18′ wide). Our contractor says it is to expensive to do but my husband is determined…. After reading your info. and the very reasonable price you paid for your Nana wall and installation, we would like to proceed and have one installed…. Could you please give me the “steps” on how to get the best price and who to contact to purchase one? I guess I would then ask my current contractor to install it…
Thank you.. I enjoyed reading your articles.

Dear Erik Buck enthusiast;

I saw your posting on a local St Louis blog relating to Eric Buck stools … etc.

I am looking to sell my bar and stools. They have been in our family since we bought them in West Germany in 1968. I come from USAF family (father – fighter pilot). We no longer have use for the bar and stools and are looking to sell them… would you or someone you know be interested in purchasing them. I can provide you pictures if need be …..original owning family. They are in great condition and have been inside our house/and my mom and dad’s house for 50+ years.
