After traveling to Louisiana to visit family for two weeks, I was so happy to see my house and all of the new front yard landscaping. I know it will look so much better after it’s grown and matured, but the house looks so much better. And, dirt isn’t flying on our house every time it rains anymore! Tim isn’t happy with what he planted in our front planter (they were out of his first choice), so I think we’ll be swapping that out. But, it’s just so nice to see green!
The garden is absolutely out of control. We have beans and zucchinis coming out of our ears. I love seeing how much everything has grown.
Here are Tim’s custom “Topsy-Turvies”. Who knows how many tomatoes we’ll get, but I think they are fun. Herbs on top…little tomatoes on the bottom.
Here is what Tim ate for practically every meal last week. Nicoise salads with lettuce, beans and tomatoes from the garden.
And, this is what’s on our schedule for this weekend (to start…will take a few weekends). I need to finish up the patio spacing and stone setting. It’s really all done, but we had to make adjustments to this side. And, see all of that dirt. Yea, I’m sick of it. So, we need to install the edging, wheel up more grey breeze, set up stone paths and install plants.
