Foundation Footers & Stem Walls Poured

On Friday, the footers were poured. Looks like pretty serious business here. Two concrete trucks with pumps OVER the top of the house. Quite the operation. But, it only took a few hours. The Dirt is Flying & the Foundation is Getting Started.

It’s been a busy week with our remodel. The excavators moved many, many truckloads of dirt from our backyard. I thought we accidentally ordered a swimming pool! The excavators pulled up the two remaining tree stumps and then did all of the rough grading in the back yard.
